Most of the horses offered for sale by Gwaihir are registered with their relevant society.
DVDs are available for each horse offered for sale.

 Prices are reviewed regularly when our young horses are training and in work, and may increase to reflect their extra value.

Aubudon de Gwaihir

'Buddy' is a registered Arabian Warmblood (with AWHA and AHSA), he is also eligible for ASH 1st Cross registration. He was foaled in 2003 & will mature 16.3hh+.

This striking gelding has a lovely nature.  He is deep girthed with soft, flowing balanced paces. His correct conformation, straight movement and athletic build make him suitable for dressage, eventing, show hunter classes and hacking out. 

Currently training, and soon to be competing with Robbie Soster (winners of the Riders Shoppe Young Rider Individual CDI-Y at SIEC in May). Robbie says of 'Buddy' "Buddy, well wow!!! We are quite taken by him. What a power house."

Au de Gwaihir

Outstanding rising three year old son of Gwaihir Aubusson, out of Bette, a glorious 17 hand thoroughbred.  Au is an eye catching gelding with flaxen mane and tail, and chrome all round!

Foaled Oct 2006, he has a very personable nature, and at 2 years of age stands at 15.3hh, he will mature to approximately 16.1hh. He is registered Anglo Arabian (AHSA) and ACE registered, he is also eligible for first cross ASH registration. He is sure to excel at any discipline with his great conformation and dazzling good looks, we see him as the ultimate competition mount.

Aurelia de Gwaihir 

An outstanding red bay rising three year old by Gwaihir Aubusson out of Gwaihir's Zsa Zsa (by Zadkine).
This glorious filly is currently 16.1hh and will mature approximately 17hh. She has our ideal cross of eventing bloodlines with Zadkine and Aubusson. She is reluctantly offered for sale to a competitive eventing home. Aurelia has a fabulously trainable and grounded nature, much more mature than her years, with talent to burn. She will be broken in shortly.

Audacity de Gwaihir

SOLD - Congratulations to the Kerry Masterman from Eumundi, Qld who has purchased Mike as her new dressage mount and equine friend.  

 Eye-catching bay Arabian Warmblood gelding, rising 2yo.  Mike is by Gwaihir Aubusson out of Kaz (By Dutchman). With Aubusson's trade mark fabulous canter and his dam's warmblood trot we see this fabulous gelding excelling in all disciplines including dressage and hacking. Mike is mister personality, with a stunning front and wonderful conformation. He is Registered Arabian Warmblood (AHSA) and ACE (Warmblood Register) and eligible for first cross Stock Horse registration. Albert

This 2yo bay/brown colt by Gwaihir Aubusson is out of Terrell Ellite, a stunning mare who has won numerous top awards at Arabian horse shows, including the Triple Crown, as  well as many champions & supremes in the open hack ring. Albert is a full brother of Minx de Gwaihir. He is reluctantly offered sale as his owners are retaining his full sister. Albert is registered Partbred Arabian, and currently 15hh, expected to mature to approximately 15.3hh.

This gorgeous brown rising 2yo filly is by Gwaihir Aubusson and out of Gwaihir Jazzstar. 

Combining the best of dressage ("Jazz") and eventing ("Aubusson") bloodlines this super athletic filly will suit your discipline of choice.

Gwaihir's Jazzstar

SOLD - Congratulations to the Delamont family from Exeter  

This exceptional 16.1hh, 7yo, brown warmblood mare is by by Jazz out of Springfield Ava (King lines). AWHA and ACE registered. Jazzstar recently  placed 8th nationally in the ACE Tour Mare section, receiving the highest movement score of any mare.  Her filly foal, Auratum ranked 3rd highest in the filly section, also achieving the highest movement score on the entire ACE national tour! 

She is a beautifully natured mare with great conformation. Her movement has
exceptional reach and elevation. Training Novice/ Elementary (prior to foaling), she has accrued 16 points for her handful of outings with trainer/rider Sally Ann Gillis. Also securing a Bronze Medal Award at DNSW in '06. She had a fabulous filly (Auratum) by Aubusson in October 2006.

In May 2007 Jazzstar resumed her training under FEI rider Jane Robinson, This pair recently competed at Warringah Dressage on 29th July 2007. They came 2nd in the 2.3 Associate with 70%, scoring a 9 for her medium walk as well as numerous 8s. In the 2.2 Official they came 3rd on 66%.
Minx de Gwaihir

Gorgeous bay/brown registered Part-Bred Arabian filly, foaled 2004. She is Thoroughbred/Arab/Quarter Horse cross, and is also eligible for ASH 1st Cross registration.   Her dam, Terrell Ellite has won numerous top awards at Arabian horse shows, including the Triple Crown, as  well as many champions & supremes in the open hack ring. She is by our superstar sire Gwaihir Aubusson.

Minx will mature to approximately 15.2hh. This beautifully marked, quiet, tractable filly has such an easy going nature, she is blessed with fabulous conformation & presence.  The perfect horse for all disciplines. Easy to catch, lead, trim, worm and float.

Zsa Zsa - Gwaihir Broodmare for Sale

 SOLD - Congratulations to Corniche Arabian Warmbloods, She will be a wife for Gwaihir's Dante (by Gelriano)

This wonderful broodmare  was foaled 1995 and stands 17hh. She is by Zadkine (sire of internationally successful eventers and sire of Gwaihir Zodiac) out of Verisima (dam of Royal Reserve Champion 'Gazelle de Gwaihir').

Zsa Zsa is ACE registered in the main mare studbook.  She previously competed Novice dressage. This mare has a beautiful kind temperament and was a lovely riding horse, she is now retired for breeding and trail riding. She is an easy breeder, great mother and fabulous foster mother.

Kaz is brown and 14yo.  She is a lovely girl and has just had the most gorgeous colt foal to Gwaihir Aubusson. Kaz has competed Medium dressage and has wonderful movement and elevation.  She would be an asset to any stud breeding program.

Gwaihir's Goddess

SOLD - Congratulations to her new owner from Yarramalong, NSW, Samantha Mainwaring.
             This combination commenced their eventing career in 2009.

"Goddess" is an exceptional 4yo Arabian Warmblodd (reg AHSA & AWHA) mare by Gelriano (Imp), out of Gwaihir Primadonna, by San Domingo (Gwaihir Aubisson's sire).Gwaihir Primadonna had a wonderful show career whilst a junior at Gwaihir Stud, we then borrowed her back to breed from later in her life.

This breathtaking mare was foaled in 2003, and will mature approximately 16hh. She is exquisitely elegant with wonderful conformation and an unflappable nature, which led her placing in the Top 10 Led Arabian Warmblood Yearling Class at the Australian Arabian Championships in 2005.
 
Goddess is an opulently beautiful mare with flawless  conformation, three lovely balanced paces and a wonderfully mature  nature. Competed since a yearling she has been placed at every outing, including winning her first dressage test with 73%. Her bloodlines combine world class show jumping lines, successful  eventing lines and champion showing lines. She is the perfect  youngster to take you to the top of your chosen discipline.
