Hamish Cargill was the instructor for the day, and two of his pupils included Jane Robinson on Gwaihir Aubusson and Airlie Robinson (no relation to Jane!) on Mt Robinson's Gwaihir (5yo stallion son of Aubusson).

The "boys" were impeccably behaved. See pics!

Jane was given a thrill ride as Aubusson showed off his "youthful" exuberance. Whilst Airlie and her boy had their x/c debut (being devout show jumpers normally.) Mt Robinson's Gwaihir made a very smooth transition from his 1.30m show jumps to solid fences, happily cruising over many of the 1* obstacles.

At the end of the day Hamish was showing a keen interest in Mt Robinson's Gwaihir and kindly offered to ride him if Airlie ever wanted him to pursue an eventing career... watch this space!
